Cultural Programs

Djirra’s signature early intervention and prevention programs support Aboriginal women’s journeys to safety and wellbeing.
Our signature early intervention and prevention programs (EIP) are rich in culture, trauma-informed and Aboriginal designed and led.
Drawing on cultural knowledge, our programs focus on family violence prevention by:
  • Increasing resilience and connection to culture
  • Reducing social isolation and vulnerability to family violence
  • Offering a safe, alternative way for women to access services
  • Creating awareness about the dynamics of family violence
